Really enjoyable evening, although I did pig out on free chocolates! I had never participated in a focus group before and as is always the case you never know quite what to expect. I thought the whole evening was well managed and as a group we got on excellently and everyone contributed to the discussions. Actually in the current political circumstances it was a positively life affirming experience. I had done some research beforehand and considered what some of the points for discussion might be and I felt that that paid off but I did not feel that that was altogether necessary. Not great.I would approach with caution as what we were pitched in the sales call vs the service we received was extremely different.When we were initially speaking to inbound they pitched that they could help us plan and co-ordinate our whole integration and move to hubspot.We were hoping for something quite strategic, starting with a really sturdy initial plan. In reality , the support was much more surface level and operational.We decided to go for a consultancy because we lacked internal expertise on hubspot but we still found ourselves constantly on knowledge hub and trying to figure out implementation solution, despite working with inbound.What they were good for was bouncing ideas off and stress testing if it would actually work. What we were looking for was a partner to guide us but what we got was someone to go to with our already thought through solution to verify.Our project manager was really lovely to work with and always super helpful and giving us good snippets of information about HubSpot. The devs who we worked with on a couple of small tasks were also good to work with.However, soon as we spent the initial contracted hours, we were immediately allocated a different project manager resource without any kind of handover, to manage our project and work going forward.Will not be using again and very glad we scaled back our initial commitment at the start to protect us against any huge commitment.

So firstly, I did them a huge favour from travelling from just outside of Manchester to Liverpool to do a wine sampling shift since they were so desperate and practically begging me. As I travelled there I asked if my expenses would be paid for, which they then replied of course everything is covered! I spent the whole day traveling around Liverpool in my own car. After the shift I emailed them my receipts they then told me I would get paid next week. Next week came, nothing. Next month came, nothing. My emails all ignored until I said that I will take the matter further if I do not get paid. Been over 2/3 months now, no reply, no money. I will be taking this further as they are PURPOSELY lacking communication as they just dont want to pay me.
