Apple just launched a series of spots promoting its Apple Card service through relatable everyday moments.
In the first spot titled "Sweater," a man attempts to wear a pullover that is too small for him, pulling its edges down in hopes it would fit.
His wife then walks into the room only to see him with half his belly out. The two share a look before the woman brings out her phone to track the man's purchase history in a shopping app.
Through the help of Apple Card, they were able to find his past purchase of the Argyle sweater so he could buy it again — this time, hopefully in a size that fits him.
The ad ends with the man smiling, as the screen invites viewers to reboot their credit card.
The second spot "Ladder" starts with a woman asking her partner if he had paid the Apple Card like she asked, as she cleans window exteriors.
In a panic, the man claims he has done the deed even if he hasn't.
Their neighbor stares at the man menacingly, as intensifying background music sings: "Oh, no. Oh, no. You forgot. You forgot. Do it quickly before she looks. Do it quick, the neighbor's watching."
However, due to the fast and easy payment process of the Apple Card, the man was able to do the task with a few clicks in only a matter of seconds.
"I did, awhile ago," the man replies to his partner, as the neighbor backs up his statement.
"Payments made simple," the screen writes.
The last commercial titled “Sock” starts with a man staring at his toe, which peeks through the hole of his old worn-out sock.
He then checks the amount of money he received through his Daily Cash app, which sits at $5.87.
The man lets out a smile of relief, as he browses for fresh new socks to replace his current pair with.
"Get Daily Cashback. Spend it right away," the spot concludes.
What Is an Apple Card?
The Apple Card is the tech giant’s latest credit card service made in partnership with Goldman Sachs.
Through it, users can easily access their information straight from their iPhone, get Daily Cashback, pay less fees, and have tools that greatly reduce interest.
The service is available only in the U.S. and users may apply for an Apple Card by clicking the "Apply" button in the Wallet app.
