Never missing a shot, Clark's very own achievements in the sport are spotlighted on screen, including:
- Having the highest average points-per-game in NCAA Women's history
- Being the Women's D1 all-time three-point leader
- Becoming the all-time leading scorer in college basketball history
- Becoming this year's #1 WNBA Draft Pick
The commercial ends with the 22-year-old finishing her drills, and Gatorade letting us know that she has more achievements on the way.
"Caitlin is just getting started," the screen writes.
Ad Receives Praise from WNBA Fans
The spot, made together with agency TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, aired during the broadcast for the Indiana Fever-Connecticut Sun game.
Upon airing, it has since received positive reactions from netizens and WNBA fans.
"Sometimes simpler is better. Great copywriting. Cinematic. So tough all around," a fan wrote on X.
The advert also marks one of Clark's collaborative efforts with the sports drink brand, following her signing with Gatorade last year, during her time with the NCAA team Iowa Hawkeyes.
In 2023, Gatorade celebrated the start of their partnership with a spot that told her humble beginnings.
Following her record-breaking performance, the star had also accumulated more sponsorship deals under her belt, including an 8-year partnership with Nike and another with State Farm.
And sports' newest marketing star is just getting started.
