Louis Vuitton has just announced South Korean star Gong Yoo as its newest brand ambassador.
The luxury fashion brand celebrated the momentous feat with the release of a short video feature highlighting the actor's career and long-standing relationship with the brand.
The 44-year-old model has previously worked with Louis Vuitton on a variety of different projects, having attended several Louis Vuitton men's fashion shows, as well as the opening of the Louis Vuitton Maison in Seoul.
He also starred in a global campaign for the Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon watch in 2017.

Most recently, the actor made an appearance at the Louis Vuitton Men's Spring/Summer 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week, which was led by Pharell Williams, who was hailed as Louis Vuitton's new creative director last year.
Louis Vuitton shared high praises for the actor in a statement, commending the unwavering dedication and fresh ideas he brings to his work.
Gong Yoo's Reflections
Gong Yoo's latest feature sees him dressed in an all-denim Louis Vuitton ensemble. He gently moves around a sunlit room in Paris while speaking to the camera.
"I keep amazing memories of being part of these important moments for Louis Vuitton. So working again with a brand that has shared those moments with me is quite meaningful personally," he says in the film.
Hailing from Busan, South Korea, Gong Yoo is best known for his roles in the television dramas "Squid Game," "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," and "Coffee Prince," as well as leading roles in the films "Train to Busan" and "A Man and A Woman."
Yoo is the newest celebrity in Louis Vuitton's growing list of South Korean ambassadors, joining the likes of:

- BamBam and Jackson Wang of GOT7
- Hyein of NewJeans
- Felix of Stray Kids
- K-pop boy group RIIZE
- K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM
Besides an acclaimed film career, the actor is also recognized for his work in environmental awareness and mental health.
He was named a special representative of UNICEF in 2013.
