The highly anticipated gameplay reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 by global game developer Activision was unveiled at Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase.
Earlier this week, a black-and-white launch trailer for Call of Duty was also revealed, produced by agency 72andsunny.
Slated to launch on October 25, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
This latest installment in the iconic franchise takes place in the post-Cold War era of the early 1990s and reportedly contains flashbacks to Black Ops 2.

The brand-new immersive campaign takes players on missions across the Middle East, Russia, Southern Europe, and the U.S., as they deal with government conspiracies.
It also sees the comeback of iconic characters, such as Frank Woods and Russell Adler.
Players have access to a new safehouse — a blend of an abandoned manor and KGB black site — serving as the campaign hub where they can configure upgrades and select missions.
A staple of the franchise, Black Ops 6 features a refreshed multiplayer mode crafted by Treyarch, with 16 new maps and innovative new movement control features.

Meanwhile, "intelligent movement" assists new and inexperienced players in navigating the environment as the classic Prestige system returns.
"This time it’s bigger and more rewarding than ever," Activision stated, highlighting the enhanced Prestige progression system for multiplayer.
