Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne warns youngsters not to party too hard in the newest campaign from canned water company Liquid Death.
The Black Sabbath icon makes an appearance in the brand's latest spot to promote its newest product: Death Dust, an electrolyte-filled hydration powder.
Pulling up in a black car, Osbourne rolls down his window to tell off two young men mixing Death Dust with water in a seedy back alley.
"Take it from me, don't snort that stuff," he says.
The rockstar gives them even more advice, telling them never to try:
- Freebasing it
- Injecting it
- Boofing it
After thoroughly confusing the two, Osbourne lets out a wicked laugh as his car speeds away.
The ad also promotes the benefits of Death Dust, which contains 5 essential vitamins and comes out at only 35 calories per serving.
"I love how Liquid Death makes a healthy thing like hydration more fun," Ozzy said in a statement.
Ever the family man, he went on to say "Sharon, the family, and I drink Liquid Death all the time, it's delicious. But seriously, don’t snort or inject anything they make. It’s much better for drinking."
Another Marketing Success
Known for its irreverent ads that seem to always go viral, Liquid Death's latest campaign is another step in the right direction for the company.
The brand has previously enlisted the help of other celebrities, launching an ad starring The Boys star Chace Crawford as The Deep, as well as making a small appearance in an Eminem music video.

The brand is also currently hosting a sweepstakes for its summer marketing campaign that will award one lucky winner with a real Aero L-39C Albatros fighter jet.
After a string of marketing antics that have taken the brand from cosmetics to cryptocurrency, Liquid Death shows no signs of stopping.
"Liquid Death has become the fastest growing and leading brand across the water, flavored sparkling water, and iced tea categories," Mike Cessario, founder and CEO of Liquid Death said in a statement.
According to the CEO, the brand continues to see "extremely strong" consumer and retailer demand and is proud to have raised a "strategic, oversubscribed, 'up' round" to help with its growth.
Death Dust is now available exclusively on Amazon, in three different flavors.
