Lil Yachty just released his latest music video for "Lil Mega Minion" leading up to the release of Illumination's upcoming film, Despicable Me 4.
Created in collaboration with Lyrical Lemonade, music video director Cole Bennett’s brand, the film features the Mega Minions as they recruit the hip-hop star to record a song with them.
According to a report from Stereogum, the song will also be featured in the film soundtrack.
The music video marks Lyrical Lemonade’s second collaboration with the franchise, with Bennet having previously directed an alternate trailer for Minions: The Rise of Gru, soundtracked by Yeat's "Rich Minion."
The Despicable Me franchise has been widely known for collaborating with hip-hop artists since its first release in 2010.
Award-winning musician and singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams wrote the first film’s main theme, "Despicable Me," as well as the "Despicable Me 2" theme, "Happy."
